2) because their was not photography they wanted to prove that they were significant so they got their portrait sculptured.
3) you could touch a sculpture, you could change and edit things on a sculpture to make them look more powerful and stronger. they could change some of the physical features in the sculpture.
4) if someone was to design my portrait i would wanna betray myself as being fun happy cheer full pretty girl. i would wanna have long hair and big eyes which have a friendly look on them. i would like to be standing up smiling with a plain simple pose so i dont look complicated.
